Meet Ava

Ava, Veterinary Assistant

Hi! My name is Ava and I am a vet assistant here at Mount Joy Animal Clinic! I have always loved animals so I decided to start volunteering at an animal clinic in 2020. I enjoyed volunteering so much, I wanted to expand my knowledge by having my co-op placement in the same field! After finishing my co-op, I started working at a few different locations.

My goal is to go to school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I love animals of all types, but I have always had a soft spot for cats, especially as I have 6 cats at home, and a dog who thinks she’s one of them!
